I’m Liv Hansen, a Danish illustrator based in Copenhagen. My drawings are shaped by everyday scenes, cultural memory, and the textures of life in Denmark from the 1940s to the 1980s. Using colored pencils, gouache, and digital tools, I create vintage-inspired illustrations and quiet visual stories — rooted in stillness, time, and place.

About this collection
These pieces reflect my approach as a Danish illustrator: quiet narrative art rooted in cultural memory, mood, and detail. Part of a tradition of Danish illustrators focused on story and atmosphere, my work draws from Denmark’s mid-century life and landscapes.
